At first glance, it is not entirely clear what Tecán is or means, as the word was invented by the producers. Tecán is a combination of Tequila and Bacán. The first word speaks for itself, the second word “bacán” is used in some Latin American countries to describe a pleasant and seductive person. A person who is self-confident and enjoys life. Everyone knows a Bacán type and is perhaps one themselves.

This tequila is a blend of highland and lowland agaves sourced exclusively from the fertile soils of Jalisco, Mexico. The blue Weber agaves undergo a 50-hour fermentation process, allowing the flavours to develop. After fermentation, the tequila rests for eight months in American white oak barrels.

The interplay of highland and lowland agaves combined with the influence of oak makes for a truly unique and unforgettable experience.
