The Perrier-Jouët Champagne House, founded in 1811 by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and his wife Rose-Adélaide Jouët, is one of the oldest and most prestigious houses in Champagne. It is located in the heart of Épernay, the historic home of many world-famous Champagne houses. The deep chalk cellars where the champagnes mature are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and play an important role in the development of Perrier Jouët’s unique style.

Perrier-Jouët Champagne Grand Brut is a harmonious composition of different aromas and flavours – a smooth, elegant champagne that perfectly embodies the typical French “joie de vivre”.

This cuvée consists of a balanced blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. The history of Grand Brut dates back to 1846, when the House of Perrier Jouët created Cuvée K – a historic champagne that marked the beginning of the “Brut” era. With a dosage of less than 5%, the champagne house ventured a revolution at a time when champagne still often contained up to 40% sugar.

Tasting NoteSilvery-golden lustre in the glass. An elegant bouquet of floral notes, ripe fruit and delicate brioche unfolds on the nose. Crisp and fresh on the palate, with rich fruity flavours. The finish is long-lasting and harmonious.
