Douglas Laing has updated the name of their famous Island blended malt bottling from ‘Rock Oyster’ to ‘Rock Island’, without changing the award-winning contents. Rock Island brings together selected single malts from the Scottish islands of Islay, Arran, Jura and An Orkney, giving it distinctive smoky notes, sweetness and maritime flavours. As part of the Remarkable Regional Malts series, Rock Island symbolises the diversity and quality of Scotland’s malt whisky regions.

The speciality of the Douglas Laing Rock Island Tequila Cask Finish Edition lies in its unique finish in tequila casks, which gives this bottling its characteristic name. In order to preserve its authenticity and purity, this whisky is bottled without the use of chill-filtration and without the addition of colouring agents.
