Description

The James Eadie Aultmore 14 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is an exclusive and strictly limited bottling of only 294 bottles, which was released as part of the renowned series The Distilleries of Great Britain & Ireland. This special single malt was distilled in 2010 and bottled at cask strength at 52.4% vol. in 2025 after 14 years of maturation in a single recharred hogshead (cask no. 306108). The whisky developed an exceptionally dark, fruity sweetness and an impressive depth due to the complete maturation in this specially burnt cask, making it a real collector’s item.

The independent bottler James Eadie is known for its exclusive single cask editions, which are always bottled at cask strength, without chill-filtration and in natural colour. The Distilleries of Great Britain & Ireland collection presents hand-picked whiskies that honour the historical heritage and individual character of each distillery. The label of the Aultmore 14 Years Old features an illustration of a historic photograph of the Speyside distillery from the early years of its history – a tribute to the distillery’s rich heritage and craftsmanship.

Tasting NoteColour: Dark gold with reddish-golden reflections.

Nose: Rich and aromatic with notes of dried fruit, honey, caramel and sweet oak.

Taste: Full-bodied and velvety with flavours of toffee, candied fruit, vanilla and fine spice.

Finish: Langs, warm and sweet with hints of wood and ripe fruit.

The James Eadie Aultmore 14 Years Old is best enjoyed neat at room temperature or with a few drops of water to open up the fruity and sweet facets. In culinary terms, it harmonises perfectly with mature cheese, roasted almonds or desserts with toffee and vanilla. It also shows its elegant structure with roast poultry or game dishes with a fruit component, such as duck with orange sauce. A Speyside single malt full of character that masterfully embodies the balance between sweetness, depth and complexity.
