Noah’s Mill Genuine Bourbon Whiskey is a traditional bourbon, produced in the pre-prohibition style. The wonderful whiskey is made by the Kentucky Bourbon Distillers and presents an amazing character. The small batch blend is composed of whiskeys aged between 5 to 15 years. When bottled, the bourbon is as strong as 57.15% Vol. which also reflects in the complex character of the whiskey. The bottles look quite unusual for bourbons today as they are quite long and come with an old-fashioned label and a cork stopper with a black wax sealing.
Irresistible aromas
The bourbon is pretty dark with an intensely deep amber colour. Due to the long aging time, the whiskey presents notes of vanilla, sweet red fruit and woody oak in the nose and shows an overall complex profile. The palate is mature with intense aromas of brown sugar, caramel, smoke and leathery, dry wood. The finish is very warm, yet pleasantly smooth.
Because of its age, you should take a moment to enjoy this whiskey neat. Nevertheless, this bourbon makes for a great base in a traditional Old Fashioned.
