The Macallan 15 Years Old Colour Collection is an elegant Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 43 per cent in a 0.7-litre bottle and presented in a high-quality gift box. The Macallan Colour Collection highlights two key Elements of the philosophy of this traditional Scottish distillery: Natural Colour and maturation in sherry-seasoned oak casks. This 15-year-old Macallan matures predominantly in American oak casks previously filled with sherry, complemented by a carefully selected proportion of European oak. The casks are first seasoned with sherry from Jerez de la Frontera in Spain. Its rich colour, reminiscent of beech wood, is created exclusively through the interaction between the whisky and the oak over many years and requires no added colouring.

The design of the gift packaging also reflects the close connection between The Macallan, the sherry casks used and Jerez de la Frontera. Developed by the renowned artist and graphic designer David Carson, the design features warm colour tones and a striking wave pattern inspired by the landscape and orchards of the Spanish region, as well as by the whisky’s natural colour.
