Description

Aged for 15 years in refill casks, re-charred American Oak casks and re-charred ex-red wine casks, this expression develops a superbly smooth character. Triple cask maturation endows rich flavours of spiced wood and honeyed cinnamon, notes of ripe berries, and a finish of jam-like sweetness and toffee apple. The flavours recall walking with friends in the golden light of autumn woodland, where turning leaves and the last apples of the season add their richness to the air.
