Description

Wild Turkey 101 is a full and intensive Kentucky Straight Bourbon, aged for between six and eight years. The oak barrels in which it sits give the whiskey a deep, spicy flavour. The subtle hint of pepper, which is typical of the Wild Turkey style, makes it unique. On the nose you’ll smell strong aromas of vanilla and caramel first, with a decent tobacco note. In the mouth, flavours of honey, fruity orange, toffee, and brown sugar unfold. Spice and oak round out the flavour profile. The finish is long and lingering with clearly present vanilla.
Wild Turkey is produced by the legendary master distiller Jimmy Russell, who has been distilling for over 60 years. Its high rye content and long aging process gives it a strong character. Enjoy this expressive whiskey on the rocks or neat.
